Skills

Intraarticular Injection

Dr. Sanjib Mondal is skilled in performing intraarticular injections, which involve the injection of medication directly into a joint. This technique can be used to treat a variety of conditions, including arthritis and joint pain, by reducing inflammation and pain in the affected area.

Echocardiography for coronary assessment in Kawasaki disease

Dr. Sanjib Mondal is also skilled in performing echocardiography, a non-invasive imaging technique that uses sound waves to create images of the heart. This technique is particularly useful for assessing the coronary arteries in children with Kawasaki disease, a condition that can cause inflammation of the blood vessels and lead to heart problems. By using echocardiography, Dr. Mondal can assess the health of the coronary arteries and detect any potential complications early on, allowing for prompt treatment and management.
